We study unit conversion, as well as volumes and surface areas of composite solids.

For unit conversion, 1 m = 100 cm, 1 m^2 = 100×100 cm^2, and 1 m^3 = 100x100x100 cm^3.

With composite solids, it is important to identify how the solid is made up. This is usually reflected in its cross-section is made up. Often we need to figure out how to calculate the area of the cross-section.

We won’t have school until 1/11/2015 when we will have a review session. On 1/18/2015, we will have our final for the Fall semester.
