We went over the problems from DSAT#2 today, and students did a wonderful job explaining the questions on the whiteboard. Please check the notes for your review.
Homework: System of linear equations (There are 2 easy, 3 median, and 4 hard sessions, and you can choose to do 6 sessions).(Remember to use the Desmos Graphing Calculator to save your time!) Please use the Google Form to share the questions with me.
Next week, we will start the Geometry unit. See you soon!

Spring 2026 session of the Menezes Challenge PRIMES Circle are now open! More information about the program can be found in the attached flyer or on our website, https://math.mit.edu/research/highschool/primes/circle/. Applications are due Dec 1, 2025.
PRIMES Circle is a free after-school math enrichment program at MIT for high school students in the Boston area. It is a wonderful way for high school students to learn fun and exciting mathematics that isn’t normally covered in school. By providing an encouraging learning environment, PRIMES Circle hopes to welcome students of all backgrounds and communities into the mathematical sciences.
If you know of any students who you think would thrive in PRIMES Circle, particularly students who have demonstrated resilience, resourcefulness, and initiative in overcoming barriers to learning, please forward us their contact details and encourage them to apply. Please also feel free to distribute this information to families and/or math teachers at your schools.
Please note that this year there is a $5 application fee due to the application software we are using this year. However, if this poses any significant challenge to applicants please reach out to Yufei An (yfa@mit.edu) for assistance.
