The rent increase will be started from July 1, 2016.
For the current NCLS tuition, which has been used to cover mainly the classroom rent fee and the teacher’s stipend, can not cover the increased rent. In order to cover the increased gap, the school board has decided to increase $10 for all the 2nd and 3rd classes from 2016 – 2017 school year, and the tuition for the 1st classes won’t change.
For all parents who used to play for free at Gym will need to pay $50 each semester if you want to play in new school year.

Class description: This newly opened Singapore math class is designed for 3rd-4th grade students in daily school, or those who are interested in Singapore math for advanced practice. This class will teach students the concept of whole numbers, multiplication and division of whole numbers, fractions, graphs, angles, perpendicular and parallel lines, area and perimeter. Students are provided with the necessary learning experiences beginning with the concrete and pictorial stages, followed by the abstract stage to enable them to learn mathematics meaningfully. This approach encourages active thinking process, communication of mathematical ideas and problem solving. This helps to develop the foundation for students who will study in Singapore Math 4th class in NCLS. Students will use Singapore Primary Mathematics CC textbook and workbook 4A/4B.
2. Math Olympiads E (for 4-6th grade students)

More than 10 years of experience in Chinese schools for service and teacher. Expert at training on working with gifted students and dedicating guiding the students to the State Math competition level. Many students in my classes were honored Chapter MathCounts competition. For year 2005 to 2015, about 40% students in my classes were selected by attending Chapter MathCounts competition, about half of students listed on the top of 25% individual ranking. Some of students honored on the top three teams in the Chapter MathCounts competition For year 2005 to 2015, about 2 to 8 students honored State MathCounts competition 2 students honored National MathCounts competition My class is dedicated to bringing challenging mathematics materials to students. The goal is to encourage student’s interest and confidence in mathematics through solving contest problems. The main focus will builds student’s problem-solving/techniques skills; promotes logical thinking and sharpens students’ analytical abilities through multiple-choice questions/competition problems in restricted times. Problem-solving strategies/techniques will be teaching during the class such as looking for a pattern, drawing a diagram, making an organized list and so on. Questions may cover: basic topics, plus exponents, fractions, reciprocals, decimals, rates, ratios, percents, angle measurement, perimeter, area, circumference, basic roots, patterns, sequences, integers, triangles and right triangles, and other topics. Our school will participate Math Olympiads program from Mathematical Olympiads for Elementary and Middle Schools, MOEMS® , Division E (up to grade 6) and M (up to grade 8) starting Fall 2016. Certificates will issue to all students, one Highest Individual Scorer will get a trophy, and awards for about 50% of all participating students.
