Dear NCLS parents:
The eighth of March holiday is meant to appreciate those who have the big but quiet influence in our lives. She can be a wife, a mom who balances work and home beautifully, or grandma, a loving sister, a hard-working teacher, a caring friend…Let’s look around us to find those women in our lives, and say to them: Happy International Women’s Day!
We have the following notes for you this week-
The Day School needs the auditorium this Sunday
The Day School students and teachers have to use the school auditorium for their students’ musical event this Sunday, as the event had to be rescheduled from Friday to Sunday due to the snow.
The auditorium will be used by the Day’s this weekend. Our 成人运动健身 Adult Aerobic Exercise class and 儿童民族舞 Children Chinese Folk Dances will be conducted in the gym. We need to ask the parents’ basketball groups to give in the gym this Sunday for the impacted classes. Thank you!
For all parents, please make sure to pick up the students at 5pm sharp from the classrooms, and leave the school building right after the classes are finished. Day School appreciates our cooperation and our support to the Day’s community on this request.
The Yard Sale on Sunday
The annual fundraising yard sale for the Support Education Project will be held in NCLS at the Day Middle School Cafeteria on March 10th, 2013. We welcome all NCLS families to participate in this meaningful event. Please donate items for the yard sale and label your items with your suggested prices. In addition, please bring some pocket money to buy things from the yard sale. When you buy items at very reasonable prices, you also support some disadvantaged young kids to complete their high school education in China. All yard sale items will be sold at customer prices(means you price the items yourself)except labeled items. Business owners can register booths to conduct businesses at the yard sale(one day only). The registration fees will go to the Support Education Project, while business profits belong to owners. Please check the link for details.
