Dear NCLS teachers and staffs:
This past Sunday went very smoothly, and thank you for your great efforts. We have provided a brief summary to all parents and you may find it in the school newsletter at http://blog.newtonchineseschool.org/.
Following are some highlights related to teachers and staffs.
1. Chinese Textbooks
PCC will continue to distribute textbooks this coming Sunday. Please ask students/parents without textbook to go to cafeteria to collect them.
2. Math workbooks
Due to the unexpected surge in registration of math classes, we currently run out of math workbooks for grade 4 and 5. We have already placed an emergency order to obtain additional workbooks. In case they don’t arrive by this Sunday, the teachers of those classes please prepare photocopies of the corresponding pages from the workbooks for those students who don’t have their math workbook, so they can finish their homework on time.
3. School property inventory
We are working on putting together an inventory sheet to track all NCLS properties. Anyone who has any items purchased for NCLS with value over $20, which include equipment, textbooks, reference books, instruments, costumes, decorations, etc., please send the following information (applicable) to Hua (juliahx@gmail.com) and Ru (ruliu17@yahoo.com):

4. Storage clean up
Due to the summer renovation atDayMiddle School, we lost one storage cabinet and had to vacate all the contents inside. Due to the shortage of NCLS storage atDayMiddle School, we are going to clean up NCLS storage atDayMiddle School. In the future, only essential items will be allowed to store at our limited space atDayMiddle School. Portable electronic devices should be carried back to home after teaching at NCLS.
5. Verifying Students’ list in your class
There has been adjustment in registration made by parents since last Sunday. All teachers, please verify the students’ list of your class with the actually attendees. Please notify school administration and the related parents if you find difference.
