各位家长： 为加强我校学生的中文口语能力和丰富中文教学活动，并且为参与四月份新英格兰中文学校协会和五月份美东中文学校协会举办的中文演讲比赛选派优秀选手，学校决定在三月二十三日和四月六日举行一年级至十年级的在校学生演讲比赛。比赛将本着公正，公开，公平的原则进行。 比赛将分为三组（包括马立平班）：1-3年级为低年级组；4—6年级为中年级组；7—10年级为高年级组。 为了办好这次活动，各班老师将安排本班学生在三月九日之前进行班级内选拔赛，并将班级选出的优胜者报到学校。每班最多可选出三名优胜者。比赛的原则是：时间两分三十秒至三分钟（注：不能低于或高于这个时间），题目自定。要求吐字清晰，表情真挚，具有知识性和趣味性，并能背诵下来。 还望各位家长鼓励自己的孩子积极参赛，并帮助自己的孩子从选题入手认真准备。有兴趣参赛的学生家长可下载或通过老师领取报名表，填写表格后尽快交给本班中文老师。老师提交本班参赛者报名表的截止日期是三月九日。 报名表： http://www.newtonchineseschool.org/principal/speechcontestspring2014.pdf
