Dear Teachers:
This coming Sunday 4/5 we will have Chinese school.
– For All Chinese Teachers: The 42nd ACS (美东中文学校协会) Annual Conference will be held on May 23-24 at Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel in Flushing, NY. If you are interested to attend the conference, please come to the library to see Xiaoyan Lin or email her xyc_lin@yahoo.com for registration and other details of the conference. Please let Xiaoyan know before April 15.
– Speech Competition:
在3/29进行的2015年牛顿中文学校中文朗诵、演讲比赛中年级组的比赛中，一共有27名学生参与了这次活动（另外五名同学因其它原因将参加其他两组的比赛，但分数将不作为名次计算），其中16名同学参加了朗诵比赛，11名同 学参加了演讲比赛。比赛中，七位评委们对每位参赛学生依照比赛评分标准进行了认真，公平的计分。最后，根据每位学生的总得分决出了每组前三名获胜的学生，同时也决出了每组获得鼓励奖的同学:
After last Sunday’s school, NCLS received another complaint from Day Middle School reporting things on the teacher’s desk were messed with. Please watch your class students closly not to touch things on the teacher’s desk. Also please make sure to put chairs and tables back to the original places. Do not lock the doors after your class. If we continue to receive the complaints, we may lose another classroom, it will create huge negative impact for NCLS. Please try your best to avoid the similar things happen in the future.
For all teachers and TAs, please take a look at the classroom carefully before you start your class. If you notice anything messed up or unusual in the classroom, please take some pictures and report to principals.
