演讲比赛通知：

为加强我校学生的中文口语能力和丰富中文教学活动，并且为参与波士顿地区和美东中文学校协会举办的演讲比赛，学校决定在三月十八日举行四年级至十年级的在校学生演讲比赛。比赛将分为两组（包括马立平班）：4—6年级为中年级组，7—10年级为高年级组。

为了办好这次活动，各年级组长和老师将安排各班在二月二十六日之前进行班级内选拔赛，并将班级选出的优胜者报到学校，截止日期为三月四日。每班可选出一到两名优胜者。

比赛的原则是：时间两分三十秒至三分钟，题目自定。要求吐字清晰，表情真挚，具有知识性和趣味性，并能背诵下来。

具体比赛规则和细节由各年级自定。之后，在班级比赛的基础上，学校将请一些有经验的老师为学校范围的比赛定出具体的规则和细节。

Dear parents,

The show time is coming!

We had a very good rehearsal on this Sunday, Feb. 5. The students who played the instrument was awesome. The singers performed also very well. Thanks to all the parent’s helping and encouraging. We are ready!

地点：牛顿北高礼堂 (new, opened in September 2010)
457 Walnut Street, Newton, MA 02460
服装: (Dress Code) White Shirt, Black Pants/Skirt

Due to some reason, I did not get the tickets before the class end(3:30pm) this Sunday. But I have them now. I’ll distribute the tickets at the door from 6:30pm-7:00pm. Please find 5th grade sign at the entrance. If you get there later than 7:00pm, please call me at 617-833-3573 (cell).
