Dear Teachers:
We wish you had a relaxing long weekend. We will resume our school this coming Sunday, October 16.
As you may know, at the end of last school day, one of our student accidentally set the fire alarm, and three fire trucks were sent to our school by Newton Fire Department. To prevent this from happening in the future, we want every teacher to spend a few minutes at the beginning of the class to explain to all students the use of fire alarm; and the consequences if a fire alarm is pulled accidentally. Meanwhile, please take this opportunity to educate your students about the school rules and go over NCLS emergency procedures with your students.
Same as previous years, we will have two Thanksgiving events this year: a school wide celebration and a teacher appreciation party. As we approaching Thanksgiving, we have started working on these two events. Following are two announcements related to these two parties:
1. 教职员工联欢会
为了感谢教职员工及其家属们的辛劳奉献，也为了给大家提供一个相互交流的机会，家长会将协助校行政于十二月十日6:15pm—10:30pm 在剑桥中文学校举办“教职员工及家属联欢会”。秉承去年的联欢形式，我们将组织美食评比，文艺节目，全家福摄影，颁发教师奖项，如时间充足，还可组织学跳集体舞，唱卡拉OK， 希望大家踊跃参与。 同去年一样，今年我们还将邀请家属(包括老人和孩子)与教职员工， 成人助教一起共度佳节。学校将委派刘茹，楼一平和许华老师主要负责。在家长会的协作下，相信大家一定会度过一个愉快的夜晚。
