The spring semester has past half way. It’s time we start to prepare for the next school year. The fall 2015 registration will start in mid-May. We need all teachers to let us know your teaching plan for next school year. If you do not plan to continue teaching this coming fall, please let us know as soon as possible. – Speech Competition:
本年度牛顿中文学校中文朗诵/演讲比赛圆满地结束了。在此，我们特别感谢教务主任林晓燕的组织领导，校长助理田毅和许华的大力协助，以及以下评委老师的积极参与：狄晓慧，韩黎娟，茆乔筠，潘芳，杨宜芳，张志一，赵咏梅。各位评委老师认真负责的敬业心受到了广大家长的好评，非常感谢！
另外，也非常感谢校行政的李光华，王卫东，刘玲和丁亮在摄影和清理会场方面所给予的支持，谢谢！
1. Award list for 4/12 speech competition:
在4/12进行的2015年牛顿中文学校中文朗诵/演讲比赛低年级组的比赛中，一共有23名学生参与了这次活动，其中18名同学参加了朗诵比赛，5同学参加了演讲比赛。这是今年这次活动的最后一场比赛，也是最让人感动的一组参赛学生，他们当中最小的才只有5岁。但是年龄并未成为他们参加比赛的障碍，像前两组参赛学生一样，他们在演讲/朗诵舞台上展现给大家的是自信、勇气、坚持、以及对学习中文的热爱，让我们看到了未来在异国他乡传承中国文化后继有人的希望。因此，对所有参赛的同学来讲，因为他们的参与，所以他们个个都是赢家。 至此，低年级组的朗诵/演讲比赛已全部完成。在家长们的大力协助和同学们的积极参与下，这次比赛进行得非常顺利，在此我们也对各位家长给予的热情帮助表示衷心地感谢。比赛中，七位评委们对每位参赛学生依照比赛评分标准进行了认真，公平的计分。最后，根据每位学生的总得分决出了每组前三名获胜的学生，同时也决出了每组获得鼓励奖的同学。

-traffic issue
Last Sunday, one traffic control parent saw two cars hanging teacher’s parking tag drove out of the school in the wrong direction. Please note that the campus drive is a one way road. Driving against the traffic is not allowed, especially during the time when high volume of students and parents walking out of the building. Safety is always the top priority for all students and parents. To follow the rule, you have to drive around the school building to exit. Thanks to all for your cooperation.
