Dear Teachers,
This coming Sunday 4/13 will be the last class for the month of April. We do not have school on 4/20 and 4/27 due to the April vacation week. We hope you enjoy the break.
Here are couple of notes:
1. 教学意向表:
www.newtonchineseschool.org/principal/2014-2015教学意向表.pdf
In order to well prepare our teaching staff for next school year , we need you to fill out this form and submit to us by 5/11. Our registration for next school year will start in mid-May. If you have any questions regarding the teaching for next school year, please feel free to contact us. If you want a hard copy of this form, please come to our desk in the library.
2. Email address in the teachers’ login page
Recently some teachers noticed that emails sent to students from their teacher’s login page have been returned. After our research, we found out that recently all major email service providers, Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, etc., have deployed new anti-spam filters which reject any incoming email sent from a server that does not host the sender’s email domain.
To address this issue, we have created a forwarding email address with the school’s email domain for every teacher. It is your teacher login id plus “@newtonchineseschool.org“. We have set up your addresses so that they will forward to your personal email addresses. You will find that when you log into your teacher account to send email to students, the “From” line now is always your school email address and you cannot change it. Please start using this and let us know if you run into any issue.
To help identify any potential forwarding issue, please send an email to yourself with your school email address. You should receive it in your personal email box. Do check SPAM folder in case you don’t get it. If, after checking SPAM folder, you don’t receive, let us know and we will check the address for you. If you have any questions regarding this issue, please contact us any time.
