Dear Teachers,
Hope you all have a nice Mid-Autumn Festival. In this traditional holiday time, we want to thank your family for the support of your work and our NCLS community. We wish you all have a sweet holiday time!
For the past week, we received a few classroom complaints from Day school. Two regarding moving of table and chairs and not putting back and one regarding sink use in the classroom and spilled out water on carpet and floor. Together with the complaints from Day teachers in the first week, it has brought to Day’s Principal’s highest alert level now. A detailed review of these issues also convinced us that all of these issues are preventable. Therefore, we want to reiterate our classroom management practice here:
1. Try not to move the tables and chairs if you don’t have to. If you have to, please take a picture of the classroom before you move and make sure you put them back into the original spot. You can take another picture afterwards for your own proof.
2. Proper communication set up between 1st class teacher and 2nd class teacher. If you are the 1st class teacher and have any change to the classroom, please make sure to communicate the change to the 2nd class teacher.
3. For teachers who have labs as classroom, please make sure students not to touch the lab equipment. For art classes, if you need to use the sink, please make sure not to let water running afterwards and clean up any spilled water outside the sink.
4. Please communicate any concern or classroom issue immediately to Li Guanghua Laoshi, our classroom Manager, so we can resolve them quickly.
As you know, classroom management is always on the top list of our school administration. We thank you for your attention to this matter and cooperation.
