Algebra 2 is structured into two semesters. The Fall semester covers Chapters 1–10, from Basic Techniques for Solving Equations to Sequences and Series. The Spring semester continues with Chapters 11–18, focusing on Identities, Manipulations, and Induction through More Inequalities. Additionally, Chapter 19: Functional Equations will be provided as self-study material.
Each semester consists of 16 classes. A midterm exam will take place around Class 8, and a final exam around Class 15. Both exams are completed at home to allow more class time for instruction. We will review the midterm in Class 8 and the final exam in Class 16.
The course covers a substantial amount of material at a fast pace. Students are encouraged to complete all homework assignments to keep up with the lessons.
