现在麻州州政府从事“计算机数据库管理”工作。赴美前曾在广州一所大学任教，主教《微机原理》 和《自动控制理论》，曾被评为“学生最喜爱的老师”。九〇年来美深造，毕业后进入“计算机数 据库管理”领域工作。1994 年开始，利用业余时间从事海外中文教育工作。曾任加州理工学院 （Celtech）中文课外辅导老师，麻州世纪中文学校中文老师，牛顿中文学校中文老师、二年级 教学小组组长、董事会董事、副校长、校长。现任牛顿中文学校，快乐中文学校中文老师，亚特 兰大红帆中文学校教学顾问。亲自教授过成人中文班、儿童双语班、华裔儿童学前班至九年级各 班、中文 SAT II 及 AP 应试班。研习后熟练使用的教材包括：《自编双语教材》、《标准中文》、 《暨南大学中文》、《直映识字》、《马立平中文》、《美洲华语》、《中文 SAT II》，《中 文 AP》等。
