Every year, Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce gives two scholarships to college-bound seniors attending accredited college/universities.*
* Other towns like Weston gives similar scholarships. You should look into your towns.
In recent years, one of students in this SAT Chemistry class and my Chinese class TA received the scholarship from Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce. One of the students in my Chinese class received a scholarship from Town of Weston.
This year the Newton-Needham Chamber of Commerce will present two $1,500 awards for college-bound seniors. Completed applications must be submitted to the Chamber no later than 5 PM on March 20, 2015.
The scholarships recognize outstanding high school seniors residing in Newton or Needham or attending a Newton or Needham high school who succeeded scholastically while simultaneously giving back to their community.
