This Sunday class (9th grade Chinese) and the party!

All students,

Please come to our classroom, #317, at 2:00 PM this coming Sunday.   We will discuss the final exam first and then go to the Cafeteria.  We will have a party!   Food and drink will be provided, i.e.  you do not need to bring anything.

I hope to see everyone there.

P.S. please remember to bring your homework to the class and send me your ppt presentation if you have not done so.

Open Conversation: Lecture Series for Parents of Teens, Part V, Thursday, June 19, 7:00 pm

Learn how to talk to teens about body confidence, eating disorders and media literacy. The session will show parents how to start the conversation, model healthy behaviors and teach young people not to put others down based on looks. The program is part of the Youth Stress Grant awarded to the Newton Health & Human Services Department, the Newton Free Library and Newton Youth Services. Series partners include Newton Cares, Newton-Wellesley Hospital, Riverside Community Care, the Massachusetts School for Professional Psychology and the Multi-Service Eating Disorder Association.

The 9th grade Chinese final exam and homework

Dear parents,

Please email me if your son/daughter cannot come to school this coming Sunday for the final exam.

We are in the final two weeks of this school year.  I am compiling homework completion assessment for each student.  I have informed the students during the last class, that if s/he cannot complete and submit all the homework assignments (twelve lessons in total), I need the consent of the parents with brief explanation, e.g. sickness, other extra curriculum activities, by replying this email. Otherwise, the students are required to complete and submit all his/her homework by June 22, the last day of the school.

Thank you for your collaboration.
