Chemistry in Your Life. Classes on June, 02, 09, 16 and 23

Dear students,

We still have four Sunday classes left for this semester, June 02, 09, 16 and 23.

I plan to teach “Chemistry in Your Life” which include

  1. Carbon and organic chemistry
  2. Carbohydrates, Fats, and Oils (Health and Energy)
  3. Nucleic Acids, Proteins and Hormones (The Molecules that Make Us)
  4. Chemicals in Our Bodies and Environment (in Food, Drink, Air, Drug, and Clothing)

 ———————————————————————————————————————

I hope that everyone can learn from and find these classes useful to your next stage of study or in your day-to-day life, regardless what academic area you will pursue.  At minimal, you would become a better educated consumer and voter when you reach 18.  For some of you who will take AP biology next year, the above-mentioned topics are fundamentals.

I hope to see all of you in tomorrow’s class.  We will have fun.  Learning is fun!
