Welcome back, old and new students.<\/p>\n<p>We will be on the subject of geometry for a while. Today we covered congruent triangles. Three rules for deciding if two triangles are congruent:<\/p>\n<p>1. SAS: two sides and the included angles. It is important that the angle has to be one between the two sides;<\/p>\n<p>2. AAS: two angles and a corresponding side. With two angles the same, the third ones have to be identical as well. So it is important to see if the sides are indeed the corresponding ones.<\/p>\n<p>3. SSS: side-side-side.<\/p>\n<p>4. RHS: right angle hyptenuse and side.
