Dear Parents,
We are planning to have a 儿歌比赛。The idea is to give each student an opportunity to speak in front of the class. I explained to the kids two weeks ago. They can pick a poem we have learned in class, or a poem they know. I am planning to start it this coming Sunday if your kids are ready to perform. I will pick 3-5 kids each Sunday. Please remind your kids to practice at home.
The requirement is:
They have to memorize the poem. They can not use the book.Speak loud and clear.

Dear Parents,
Today we finished lesson 4, we also completed learning 23 声母. I have thought kids to sing a 声母song to help them memory the声母. Please remind your son or daughter practice at home. We also practiced some tongue twister at class. I have posted it on my blog under Class Practice 课堂练习. If kids can practice at home would be great.
Homework 9 has distributed to kids and also posted under HOMEWORK .

星期天（11月6日）我们复习了第一到第三课课文 和复习题。下星期天（11月13日）是期中考试。
我已经把回家作业7 和期中考试的复习题放在我的blog 上了（学校网站上也有)。请家长们督促孩子做好复习题，提醒孩子天天背拼音韵母和声母， 预祝他们考试顺利。
Next Sunday will be mid term exam, we had reviewed mid-term review material; it is posted on the school web site and also on my blog. You can also find home work 7 on my blog. Please help students to review and practice pin yin daily.
This is reminder, midterm exam was postponed to November 13th. This week will be for the review lesson. Please print out the review material at home before coming to school.

Dear Parents,
Most kids didn’t hand in homework 4 today. Please find homework 4 under 回家作业, please let your kids to complete it and hand to me next Sunday. I also sent home homework 5 today. So homework (4 and 5) is both due on Sunday (Oct 23).

There is no class on 10/9/2011. We will start Lesson 3 on 10/16. Homework 4 and excesses B book is due 10/16.
We started lesson 2 “在教室里”， I asked each kid think about 3 question sentences ending with …吗？ We will talk about it on Sunday Oct. 2nd. Please remind your kids to prepare for it.
We completed lesson 1 today. Please remind your son or daughter to practice the reading 阅读 (中文学校真是好). I ask student to memory it and acting when they speaking/reading.
