An online Chinese dictionary:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 www.mdbg.net<\/a><\/p>\n An online\u00a0flashcard making tool: http:\/\/quizlet.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n To create your interactive pop-up 3D book: http:\/\/www.zooburst.com\/<\/a><\/p>\n A special note for teachers\u00a0in \u300a\u9a6c\u7acb\u5e73\u6559\u6750\u300bclasses<\/strong>– please email your students\/parents this week to let them make the tuition payments including the book cost of $60 by the end of next week 6\/10\/12.\u00a0School has made the book order for \u300a\u9a6c\u7acb\u5e73\u6559\u6750\u300b\uff0cand will distribute it to students who have paid their tuition and books in\u00a0this semester.<\/p>\n Below are notes for\u00a0our teachers’ community:<\/p>\n Open Parenting Class on Sunday, June 3 (3:45 – 5:00 pm):<\/strong><\/p>\n “Children Mental Health and School Social\/Family Services” “\u513f\u7ae5\u7684\u8eab\u5fc3\u5065\u5eb7\u53ca\u5b66\u6821\u7684\u793e\u533a\uff0f\u5bb6\u5ead\u670d\u52a1” Invited Speakers\uff1a<\/p>\n Kay Khan: The city of Newton’s longest-serving state representative, who is the Co-Chair of the Joint Committee on Children, Families and Persons with Disabilities.\u00a0 She has been a leading voice for affordable and compassionate health care, mental health, public education, global education and human services, among other causes.\u00a0 She lives in West Newton, so F. Day Middle School is in her constituency.<\/p>\n Maria Meyer: a veteran social and mental health professional and an adjunct professor of Boston U. School of Social Work.\u00a0 For the past decade, she was Director of Outreach Services and Coordinator of Boston University\/Chelsea Public Schools Social Work Program.\u00a0 She is licensed clinical social worker and school adjustment counselor.<\/p>\n All interested parents are warmly welcome to this open parenting class.\u00a0 Both speakers will make a 20 minutes presentation, which will then be followed by questions and answers. Support education program report<\/strong><\/p>\n This year’s support education program report will be hold on Sunday June 10th at 3:45 pm in classroom 319. As same as last 5 years, the students and teachers who went to China this year have many good stories to tell. Look forward to seeing you there.
