The School will resum on 10\/18\/2015.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000\">-Fire Drill<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">This past Sunday, we successfully finished our annual fire drill. Thanks a lot for all \u00a0teaches\/TAs \u00a0for all of your hard work, led your classes out of the building quickly and orderly. The whole building was emptied less than five minutes\u00a0which meets the requirements of Newton fire department.\u00a0However, there are a couple of \u00a0important things that need to be\u00a0improved:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">1. After all people exited the building, there are still a lot of people stood near the building doors instead of walking far away from building as quickly as possible, made the other people\u00a0difficult to move out quickly.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">2. The main entrance driveway is not clear. The majority of parents just stood on the main entrance (driveway) that will make other people difficult to move forward, and even worse, the fire trucks will be difficult to drive in.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000\">The purpose of the fire drill is let everybody\u00a0get familiar with the general emergence exit process, strengthen the urgent feeling,\u00a0know where to go if something happens in the building. The safety of our\u00a0community\u00a0is\u00a0always the school&#8217;s top priority.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>-Writing Contest<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The registration for the 4th &#8216;Qiao Bao&#8217; Chinese assay contest already started and the dead line is 11\/15, please encourage your students\u00a0to participate.
