Dear Teachers:<\/p>\n

This coming Sunday our regular Zhongwen class will have mid-term exam.\u00a0 We, the principals, want to utilize this time to have a Principal Open House for teachers who can step out for a few minutes during the exam time.\u00a0 We know that each Sunday\u00a0our teachers are so busy that they may not have time to\u00a0talk with us for\u00a0their thoughts.\u00a0\u00a0This is an opportunity to do so. \u00a0We will be at classroom #203\u00a0during the first class period.\u00a0 If you have any thoughts or suggestions, please drop by and meet us.\u00a0 This is not a mandatory meeting, but rather an open communication channel we set up for\u00a0teachers to let us know how things are going.\u00a0 We will have such open communication\u00a0forum periodically during the school year.<\/p>\n

In addition, a few notes and reminders\u00a0for teachers:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 End of Daylight Savings:\u00a0 This coming Sunday 11\/3 is the end of Daylight Savings. Please turn your clock back for an hour, which means we have one more hour for sleeping – wonderful.<\/p>\n

2. The storage room in the library:\u00a0 please do not store your personal stuff there. NCLS only uses the two shelves in the far end of the storage room. \u00a0It\u2019s getting very crowded.<\/p>\n

3.\u00a0Reissued Checks:\u00a0\u00a0As a result of\u00a0our\u00a0financial review, we\u00a0reissued some checks which were issued before 12\/31\/02 and had never been cleared.\u00a0 Some teachers received these reissued\u00a0checks and were confused.\u00a0 This is not an error.\u00a0 If you have questions regarding your pay, please contact us at any time.<\/p>\n

4.\u00a0Dictionary:\u00a0 The school bought some dictionaries (\u6c49\u82f1\u53cc\u89e3\u65b0\u534e\u5b57\u5178\uff09which you can borrow for your teaching.\u00a0 You can sign out the dictionary for a whole school year.\u00a0 Please ask Ling Zheng if you want to borrow it.<\/p>\n

5.\u00a0Talent Show:\u00a0 The talent show, which is one of the fund raising event for our Support China Education Program, \u00a0is on this coming Sunday from 4-7pm in the second floor auditorium.\u00a0 Some of your students may perform in this show for a good cause.\u00a0 If you get a chance, please come and cheer for them.<\/p>\n

Last but not least, our Thanksgiving Party is coming up on November 23 Saturday from 7pm to 11pm at ACAS Center in Woburn.\u00a0 Please see the details in the flyer: http:\/\/www.newtonchineseschool.org\/principal\/ThanksgivingPartyflyerfinal.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n
