{"id":1330,"date":"2013-09-19T22:42:34","date_gmt":"2013-09-20T02:42:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.newtonchineseschool.org\/teachers\/?p=1330"},"modified":"2013-09-19T22:42:34","modified_gmt":"2013-09-20T02:42:34","slug":"letter-to-ncls-teachers-on-19-sep-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.newtonchineseschool.org\/teachers\/2013\/09\/19\/letter-to-ncls-teachers-on-19-sep-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Letter to NCLS Teachers on 19-Sep-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Teachers,<\/p>\n<p>Hope you all have a nice Mid-Autumn Festival.\u00a0 In this traditional holiday time, we want to thank your family for the support of your work and our NCLS community.\u00a0 We wish you all have a sweet holiday time!<\/p>\n<p>For the past week, we received a few classroom complaints from Day school.\u00a0 Two regarding moving of table and chairs and not putting back and one regarding sink use in the classroom and spilled out water on carpet and floor. \u00a0Together with the complaints from Day teachers in the first week, it has brought to Day&#8217;s Principal&#8217;s highest alert level now. \u00a0A detailed review of these issues also convinced us that all of these issues are preventable. Therefore, we want to reiterate our classroom management practice here:<\/p>\n<p>1. Try not to move the tables and chairs if you don&#8217;t have to.\u00a0 If you have to, please take a picture of the classroom before you move and make sure you put them back into the original spot.\u00a0 You can take another\u00a0picture afterwards for your own proof.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0Proper communication set up between 1st class teacher and 2nd class teacher.\u00a0\u00a0If you are the 1st class teacher and\u00a0have any change to the classroom, please\u00a0make sure to communicate the change to the 2nd class teacher.<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0For teachers who\u00a0have labs as classroom, please make sure students not to touch the lab equipment. \u00a0For art classes, if you need to use the sink, please make sure not to let water running afterwards and clean up any spilled water outside the sink.<\/p>\n<p>4.
