{"id":1280,"date":"2013-09-12T22:43:52","date_gmt":"2013-09-13T02:43:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.newtonchineseschool.org\/teachers\/?p=1280"},"modified":"2013-09-12T22:43:52","modified_gmt":"2013-09-13T02:43:52","slug":"letter-to-ncls-teachers-on-12-sep-2013","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/blog.newtonchineseschool.org\/teachers\/2013\/09\/12\/letter-to-ncls-teachers-on-12-sep-2013\/","title":{"rendered":"Letter to NCLS Teachers on 12-Sep-2013"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dear Teachers,<\/p>\n<p>Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!<\/p>\n<p>We had a fantastic school Day last Sunday!\u00a0 It was busy, but very smooth.\u00a0 Thanks to all teachers who worked so hard to get ready for the first class.\u00a0 Surely the school admin staff worked tirelessly to prepare for the school opening.<\/p>\n<p>Regarding classroom management, we received very positive feedback from Day school teachers after receiving our letter and a box of tissue and markers.\u00a0 Last week, most of the first floor and second floor classrooms received the letter,\u00a0 tissue and markers.\u00a0 This week, we will distribute them to the rest of the classrooms.<\/p>\n<p>During the first week, we did have one issue regarding the Smart Board in the classroom. For teachers who have Smart Board\u00a0in their classroom, this is not a regular white board, so you cannot use markers to write on it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s like a screen and only special pens can write.\u00a0 If by accident you wrote on it, please have your TA come to the library immediately so we can provide a special solution to wash it. A rule of thumb: if you notice something is wrong with the classroom, you or your TA take a picture and notify the admin team immediately.<\/p>\n<div>As the first week went by, please log in the school system to check your updated class list, because there could be students withdraw or added to your class since the last time we print out the list for you at the teacher&#8217;s meeting.\u00a0 Please let us know if any student in your class is not on the class list.<\/div>\n<p>A few other notes:<\/p>\n<p>1. Please go to Xu Hua in the library to pick up the moon cake<\/p>\n<p>2. The updated Reimbursement Form and W9\u00a0Form\u00a0link is on\u00a0our school website:\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newtonchineseschool.org\/forms.php\">https:\/\/www.newtonchineseschool.org\/forms.php<\/a><\/p>\n<p>3.
