We have a serial of Chinese New Year (CNY) celebration activities in this month, please refer to the following notes and take the actions as needed:<\/p>\n
In-school CNY performance this Sunday<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Please take a look at the program list and plan your time accordingly:<\/p>\n http:\/\/www.newtonchineseschool.org\/principal\/CNY_program-2013-02-03<\/a><\/p>\n Please communicate with the parents of your class’ regarding the\u00a0arrival and\u00a0dimissal plan. Basically, despite\u00a0of\u00a0performing on stage or not,\u00a0\u00a0the students\u00a0need to\u00a0meet in the classroom before 2pm, and should be dismissed from the classroom\u00a0at the end of the each class period. If your class is performing, please have your students stay in classroom until a staff comes to call you.<\/p>\n Tickets for the Out-school CNY event on Feb. 16<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Teachers, TAs and performers are getting free tickets for the CNY performance. The event takes place in Regis College on Feb. 16 at 7pm.\u00a0Please pick up the tickets from the library on Sunday.<\/p>\n \u7ea2\u5305for students in language classes<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Students in K-10 Chinese language classes will receive \u7ea2\u5305 for the Chinese New Year. Teachers from these classes need to pick up the \u7ea2\u5305 for your class from the library before 2pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n January pay check\u00a0will\u00a0be received\u00a0by Feb. 7<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n To reward the achievements accomplished by our teachers and staffs, NCLS will give out bonus at the end of Fall semester. For the month of January, in addition to the regular four weeks salary, you will receive two weeks salary including your years of service. Grade leaders will receive additional $50; teachers who do not use parking permit will be compensated with $20. For K-grade, the class with students over 18 and other classes with students over 20 will receive additional bonus.<\/p>\n Every teacher will receive a $50 extra gift card and every TA will receive a $15 gift card. The\u00a0gift cards will be distributed\u00a0on Feb. 17<\/strong>. For people who provided W-9 to our school accountant, you should receive your pay check, which including the bonus and additional payment, in mail around Feb. 7.<\/p>\n Verify your 1099 form<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Please verify your 2012 1099 form.
