Ms. Lijia Li grew up in a teacher’s family in China. She obtained her B.S. (Applied Bioscience) from Zhejiang University, M.S. (Molecular Cell Biology) from Uppsala University in Sweden, and M.Ed (Learning & Teaching, Instructional Leadership in Math) at Harvard Graduate School of Education. When she was a high school student in China, she won second prize in the National High School Mathematics League and third prize in the National Biology Contest. 

She used to teach at Shanghai High School International Division and now works as a math teacher at Newton South High School. She enjoys teaching, and seeing each student’s progress brings her great joy. Ms. Li has taught SAT math, AoPS (Geometry, Number Theory, Counting & Probabilities), and Singapore Math at NCLS.
