Today we went over Problems #8, 13, 23, 26, 27, and 32 of Ch.16 Functions homework, and students worked on Examples #1-4 of Ch.17 Quadratics on the whiteboard. Ms. Li also explained Problems #8, 18, 19, 25, 26, 30, 37, and 38 from the final exam. Please check class notes here.

Quadratics is a very important topic in SAT math. Please have a clear picture of the three forms (standard, vertex, factored form), quadratic formula, roots, vertex, Discriminants & # of roots.

Homework:
-Ch.17 HW Pg 158-160, please show your work neatly with essential steps. Check the answer key on pg 314-316, and fill in the questions on this Google Form.

–DeltaMath: Ch.17 Quadratics (Some of you are going to take the SAT math next Month. Please make good use of the DeltaMath resources and get well-prepared)

There are no classes in the following two weeks. Enjoy the winter break, and see you all in March!

Today we discussed Problems #7,8, 11, and 14 from Ch.15 homework, and students explained Examples 1-10 from Ch. 16 Functions on the board. See class notes here:)

  1. Pg 140-145: Ex 1-32 (Please check the answer keys on Pg 311-313 and share the # of problems you want Ms. Li to go over next week in this Google Form).
