The Fall semester covers Chapters 1\u201310, from&nbsp;<strong>Basic Techniques for Solving Equations<\/strong>&nbsp;to&nbsp;<strong>Sequences and Series<\/strong>. The Spring semester continues with Chapters 11\u201318, focusing on&nbsp;<strong>Identities, Manipulations, and Induction<\/strong>&nbsp;through&nbsp;<strong>More Inequalities<\/strong>. Additionally,&nbsp;<strong>Chapter 19: Functional Equations<\/strong>&nbsp;will be provided as self-study material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each semester consists of 16 classes. A&nbsp;<strong>midterm exam<\/strong>&nbsp;will take place around Class 8, and a&nbsp;<strong>final exam<\/strong>&nbsp;around Class 15. Both exams are completed at home to allow more class time for instruction. We will review the midterm in Class 8 and the final exam in Class 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The course covers a substantial amount of material at a fast pace.
